The Nichols Family has a long history with dams and providing innovative water solutions. On the 4th of July, 1928, Jean Lussier was the first man to safely go over Niagara Falls in an inflatable device – a rubber ball. This 6′ rubber ball was created with the help of Keith Nichols, the father of Dam-it Dams founder Jack Nichols.
The ball is still displayed at the Niagara Falls museum in Canada.
